Graduate Student
Library and Information Science
School of Information (iSchool)
I am a graduate student in Library and Information Science at UBC's iSchool, and a member of the Designing for People interdisciplinary research cluster. I have a previous M.A. in Community Psychology (with a focus on non-profits and public health) and a B.A. in Contemporary Critical Theory. The primary theorists in my toolkit Michel Foucault and Jacques Lacan, but at UBC I've been moving more into a hands-on Digital Humanities focus (creating educational hypertext objects). In the field of history, I focus most on technics, mediums of information transmission, and the more recent history of the development of computers and the internet.
