I have just completed my Master of Education in Curriculum and Leadership at UBC, and am part of the incoming PhD cohort in the Faculty of Education at UBC. I am interested in exploring the neoconservative and neoliberal nexus within education currently in India, and uncovering teacher agency and identity as sites of resistance to make education more equitable and ethical. My primary interest centres around socially responsive and and critical education.
