Kathryn Pierre

Throughout my design education, I have spent a significant amount of time learning and exploring the layering of histories both accepted and conflicted in the spaces that we occupy every day. With the cluster, I am looking to further my research on this area with a more broad, interdisciplinary approach and expand my
understanding of what these spaces mean and how they do or could look. 

RESEARCH BIO: As a student of architecture (both in my undergraduate and graduate studies) I do not have a typical research background like many students would. As such, my research experiences are exclusively academic for coursework, but I have extensive experience working within the municipal system to uncover local histories, images and documents.
